InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – Online media which is part of Mitra Media Network (MMN) Group, InfoSAWIT SUMATERA got Aspek-PIR Award 2023. It is a prestigious award that Chairman of Asosiasi Petani Kelapa Sawit Perusahaan Inti Rakyat (Aspek-PIR) Indonesia, Setiyono handed over in the first National Meeting of Aspek-PIR in Hotel Grand Suka, Pekanbaru, Riau Province, Monday (6/11/2023).
The award symbolically was handed over to journalist of InfoSAWIT SUMATERA, Hendrik Hutabarat that represented Editorial in Chief of InfoSAWIT, Ignatius Ery Kurniawan. Setiyono was with Syarifuddin Sirait, First Chairman of Aspek-PIR North Sumatera who is also as the General Secretary of Aspek-PIR, handed over the award as the recognition and dedication of InfoSAWIT SUMATERA to inform what Aspek-PIR consistently did.
"Online media InfoSAWIT SUMATERA which is the group of InfoSAWIT consistently inform what Aspek-PIR did. InfoSAWIT SUMATERA always delivered thoughts or opinions from coordinators of Aspek-PIR in many provinces. They reinforced literacy about palm oil and Aspek PIR to the society. Besides, InfoSAWIT SUMATERA always informs news about what smallholders generally face both the plasma and independent ones, with all dedication,” Setiyono said when handling over the award in Riau.
Meanwhile, journalist of InfoSAWIT SUMATERA, Hendrik Hutabarat said the appreciation and thanks for having the awards from Aspek-PIR. "We are committed to always inform in journalistic standards and reinforce the commitment to develop sustainable palm oil. The award would be the spirit for InfoSAWIT SUMATERA and Mitra Media Network Group to escalate the quality of information and our future contribution,” Hutabarat said.
The award from Aspek-PIR Award 2023 would be not only the prestige for InfoSAWIT SUMATERA and Mitra Media Network but also confirm the position as online media which is committed to inform every information accurately, in balance, and support palm oil industries sustainably in Indonesia. Hopefully, the award would be the motivation to positively deliver contribution for palm oil industries and smallholders in this country. (T2)
