InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk. (ANJ/ANJT) announced the operational and financial performance in the first nine months of 2023 (9M2023). By the late of September 2023, ANJ got increasing fresh fruit bunch (FFB) production about 5,8% to be 654.997 metric tons (MT) compared to the same period last year that reached 619.311 MT.

The increasing production was from the plantations of the company in Belitung Island that reached 185.698 MT for delivering high productivity from mature plantations and replanting program. The plantations of the company in Papua Barat Daya contributed FFB production that reached 91.228 MT, increased 13,0% compared to the same period last year. It also happened for the mature plants, improving ways and infrastructures.

By 30 September 2023, ANJ got its progress on its commitment to develop plasma plantations by allocating additional areas that laid on about 716 hectares (ha) from the main plantations in Papua Barat Daya for plasma cooperation. It means the total plasma areas allocated to the plantations laid on about 1.618 ha. Besides, the increasing FFB production happened in the productive plantations in West Kalimantan and South Sumatera.

“We predicted that FFB production would be in positive trend until the fourth quarter of 2023. We hope to get new FFB production numbers in 2025. This would be from the good progress on new lateralization project in the plantations in Papua Barat Daya and better production from the replanting program,” Director of Finance ANJ, Nopri Pitoy said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Wednesday (1/11/2023).

The increasing FFB production would encourage crude palm oil (CPO) production to be 212.221 MT in 9M2023, or escalated 3,9% compared to the same period last year that reached 204.220 MT. palm kernel (PK) production decreased 4,4% to be 38.930 MT compared to the same period last year that reached 40.720 MT. Palm kernel oil (PKO) production in the same period escalated 43,0% to be 1.084 MT compared to the same period last year that reached 758 MT.

As FFB and CPO production increased positively, ANJ got increasing CPO selling volume that reached 7,9% to be 212.816 MT compared to the same period last year that reached 197.216 MT. Besides, ANJ successfully sold PKO about 1.049 MT or increased 145,1% compared to the same period last year that reached 428 MT.But PK sale volume in 9M2023 decreased 2,0%, as same as the decreasing PK production.
