InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Ministry of Trade through its representative in Saudi Arabia, gets more intensive to struggle for its mainstay products, such as, palm cooking oil and its derivatives.
By the late of May 2023, Ministry of Trade through Trade Attache in Riyadh did track to escalate exports by meeting palm cooking oil exporters in Saudi Arabia, Wadina, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The result was that the company wanted to get palm cooking oil products from Indonesia, particularly CP (Cloud Point)4, CP8, and CP10 that would reach 200 — 300 tons.
CP4 is kind of palm cooking oil that was filtered for more than once. The color is much pure than ordinary one. This kind of palm cooking oil could last longer in cold temperature and it gets frozen. This palm cooking oil is premium and generally added by vitamin A before it is packaged to be clearer and healthier to be consumed than other regular palm cooking oil.
CP6 is high quality vegetable oil and last longer. This kind of vegetable oil is mostly used to packaging and restaurant industries.
CP10 is the product from purifying palm cooking oil to be olein oil. This kind of oil is mostly sold as bulk palm cooking oil.
For information, Wadina is one trusted food company that also operates in import, marketing, and distribution of fresh, frozen, cold, and dry food materials. To develop and expand business food, Wadina is in cooperation with credible suppliers that most of them are multi-national companies with the good market tracks globally.
Trade attache of Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh, Gunawan said, to support business development and expansion, Wadina asked for Indonesian Embassy to get palm cooking oil supply with the specification - CP4, CP6, and CP10.
"The order of Wadina, particularly in CP4 happens for Saudi Arabia, particularly in Riyadh is in extreme temperature. In the dry season, the temperature could be reaching 50°C while in the cold season, the temperature could be decreasing up to 5°C," Gunawan said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT recently.
