InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – In the coordination meeting in the office of Ministry of Agriculture between Minister of Agriculture in duty, Arief Prasetyo Adi and member of Ombudsman RI, Yeka Hendra Fatika, it was revealed to get synergic public service in food and agriculture sectors.

Yeka thought, it needs to get coordination to harmonize the interests and create transparent agriculture among the central government, regional government, related agencies/institutions and the smallholders (farmers’) groups.

Ombudsman noted some important things about palm oil sectors, such as, development, monitoring available palm oil production data which are transparent and accountable nationally. It also needs to realize smallholders’ replanting program as same as the target, and biodiesel program.

Yeka continued the agenda in ombudsman would be synergized, planned, and focused to improve significant aspects to develop agriculture to escalate the public services for the smallholders and planters.

“We would discuss everything to get the right solution in plantation, horti-culture, woof, poultry, and agricultural tools,” he said as InfoSAWIT quoted from the official page of Ministry of Agriculture, Monday (23/10/2023).

Minister of Agriculture in duty, Arief Prasetyo Adi appreciated the coordination with Ombudsman. “We appreciated Ombudsman for being here to get coordination about agriculture. We would be in synergy to deliver public services for planters and public more optimally. Transparent is significant and this is public service,” he said. (T2)
