Biodiesel Volume Would be Allocated to be 11 Million Kiloliters

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - For the people’s activity escalates, it is projected that diesel would be increasing in demand in the fourth quarter of 2022. Based on the meeting of Steering Committee of Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA) by the late August 2022, it was decided to add palm oil biodiesel allocation this year.

Coordinator Minister in Economy, Airlangga Hartarto told, it needs to maintain biodiesel supply in the program B30 until the late of 2022 by escalating the volume allocation which reached 10.151.018 kiloliters in the previous to be 11.025.604 kiloliters.

“To escalate palm oil acceptance from Indonesia in the globe, the steering committee came to a conclusion to accelerate Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certification and support every way to accelerate it,” he said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT.

The meeting also encouraged to conduct coordination meeting with the law officers to accelerate smallholders replanting program (SRP) and Ministry of Agriculture and PFMA got the mandate to get comparative study about SRP development which until now from the planting to productive plantation. (T2)
