Vehicles that Transport Palm Oil Harvest Should Use Non-Subsidy Fuel

InfoSAWIT, SAMPIT – Every vehicle that transport mining and palm oil plantation harvest is obliged to use non-subsidy fuel including in Central Kalimantan Province based on the regulation.

Area Manager Communication and CSR PT Pertamina, Patra Niaga Regional Kalimantan, Susanto August Satria said such kind of vehicle cannot use subsidized fuel. “The company should use non-subsidy fuel or industrial fuel,” he said, as quoted from Antara.

Ausanto also mentioned, PT Pertamina keeps doing the best to monitor fuel distribution namely subsidized one should be right on-target. For all these years, the people always complain to get subsidized fuel. As a matter of fact, the supply from PT Pertamina always runs well and even sometimes more than the quota.

That is why everything keeps running so that the subsidized fuel would be really for those who deserve it. The transportation of many companies, including the mining and palm oil industries, such as, fresh fruit bunch or crude palm oil should use non-subsidy fuel.

If the trucks or vehicles do not belong to mining or plantation companies but the third sides, or transporters, the fuel of such vehicles should use non-subsidy fuel.

Susanto emphasized, the important point of the regulation is about the allotment and activity, not about the vehicle. Though the trucks belonging to transporter, if they are used to transport mining or palm oil, they should use non-subsidy fuel. (T2)
