InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG) in its public expose live 2022 which Bursa Efek Indonesia initiated, explained the business progress until the first semester of 2022 both in the operational, financial, and environment social, and governance (ESG).
Directors of DSNG explained, in the second semester of 2022, the plantation productivity of the company increased compared to last year in the same period after in the last 24 months, it was impacted by El Nin which decreased the fresh fruit bunch (FFB) production of the company namely in East Kalimantan Province.
“In the second semester of 2022, FFB production of DSNG started increasing an could be more than 60% of the total production in 2022 because we got the continuous effect of El Nino. This delivered the increasing crude palm oil (CPO) production by the late of 2022,” Director of DSNG, Albertus Hendrawan said in the public expose.
DSNG also predicted, FFB production by the late of 2022 could be more than 10% year on year compared to 2021.
In the first semester of 2022, DSNG got income about Rp 3,8 billion or increased 14,9% compared to the same period last year which reached Rp 3,3 billion. Palm oil trade contributed 80% of the first income of semester I 2022.
The profitability of the company also substantially increased that reached Rp 467 billion or 119% compared to the same period last year within the profit margin 12% or almost twice than it in the previous year.
By the late of semester 1 2022, DSNG cultivated 112.800 hectares of the planted areas for the main and plasma plantation within 13 years of age of the plantations. (T2)
