The Smallholders in Simuelue: Hope to Get SRP

InfoSAWIT, BANDA ACEH – The independent smallholders in District of Simuelue want to get smallholders replanting program (SRP) within the fund support from Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA).

Chairman of Apkasindo Aceh Province, H Sofyan Abdullah said, the organization fully supports the smallholders in Simuelue to get SRP and Infrastructure Program from PFMA. He also told the support was delivered to Mayor of Nanggroe Simuelue, Soflian B in the recent discussion in Langsa City.

“It is true that Soflian B is 62 years old, we are about in the same age but he and I have the same things, which is , exciting to help the independent smallholders,” Sofyan told to InfoSAWIT, Thursday (8/9/2022).

The figure that represents Wali Nanggroe Simuelue, Soflian B told, 2.000 hetares of the smallholders’ plantations in Simuelue would be having SRP. 3.000 hectares would be having Infrastructure Program from PFMA.

Soflian mentioned, the administration process to get the programs hass been running since 2021 but it might be finished in 2022. He told the issue is about budget. He continued, the data process, filing, map, and field photo were funded by the people themselves Koperasi Berkah Usaha Tani where he leads at.

“Since the early of this year, we together did it – the data, photo, and other administration,” H Soflian B said to InfoSAWIT, Wednesday (7/9/2022). (T5)
