CPO Price in the Early of September 2022 at KPBN Slightly Decreased to be Rp 11.043/Kg

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) decreased to be Rp 11.043/kg on Monday (5/9/2022). It means, it got cheaper Rp 35/kg compared to Friday (2/9/2022) tender which was Rp 11.078/kg.

From what InfoSAWIT got from KPBN, in Belawan and Dumai it was Rp 11.043/Kg. In Teluk Bayu it was Rp 10.923/Kg but in withdraw (WD) status within the highest bid Rp 10.803/Kg. In Talang Duku there was no information. In West Kalimantan it was Rp 10.843/Kg, but in WD status within the highest bid Rp 10.600/Kg

The cheaper CPO could happen for th worry that there would be no buyer because Covid-19 cases in Chengdu and Shenzen, China get more again. The cities should be lockdown to stop the spread of Covid-19.

In Indonesia, the extension of zero export levy until 31 October 2022 would be the moment to make smallholders’ fresh fruit bunch (FFB) price remain expensive.

General Secretary of Indonesian Palm Oil Association (IPOA), Eddy Martono said, palm oil product export levy extension is very good because it reduces the cost and crude palm oil (CPO) price in the domestic could be more expensive.
