InfoSAWIT, SAMBAS – Though fresh fruit bunch (FFB) price is in fluctuation, the independent smallholders are willing to have smallholders replanting program (SRP) in their plantations.
For instance, Berkah Jaya, an independent smallholder’s group in Village of Sungai Sapak, Sub district of Subah, District of Sambas, West Kalimantan Province which was the former members of PIR-Trans of PT MISP. The group implements SRP for about 131 hectares from 734 hectares in total. Berkah Jaya also got fund help from Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA) for about Rp 20,6 billion or about Rp 30 million per hectare.
As InfoSAWIT quoted from the official Facebook of West Kalimantan Livestock and Plantation Agency, the program was firstly and officially inaugurated by Head of Livestock and Plantation Agency West Kalimantan Province, Muhammad Munsif, Regent of Sambas, Satono, the regional secretary, the legislators, the heads of agency in District of Sambas on Saturday (3/9/2022).
Still from the same official facebook, the officers took every smallholder to implement SRP where the plantations should get. “Come on, we have to take for advantage the grant from PFMA to get SRP in West Kalimantan. This is about to escalate the numbers of production and productivity of our plantations in this province,” the officers of West Kalimantan Province told. (T2)
