Palm Oil Biodiesel Allocation Would Be 11 Million Kiloliters in 2022

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – For the people’s economy gets increasing and the prediction would also increase diesel demands in the fourth quarter of 2022, based on the meeting of Steering Committee of Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA) on Sunday (28/08/2022), it was decided that the biodiesel allocation in 2022 would be more.

Coordinator Minister in Economy, Airlangga Hartarto, biodiesel in the program of B30 should be in enough supply until December 2022 by increasing the allocation in this year which reached 10.151.018 kiloliters (kl) to be 11.025.604 kl.

“To increase palm oil acceptance from Indonesia in the world markets, the committee came to a conclusion to accelerate Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certificate acceleration by locating ISPO Secretariat led by PFMA and support every activity to realize it,” Airlangga said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT.

The meeting also suggested to get coordination meeting with the legal officers as the way to accelerate smallholders replanting program. Ministry of Agriculture and PFMA also got the mandate to conduct study about the development fund in SRP which is now covering P0 to be First Productive Plantation. (T2)
