InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) got cheaper to be Rp 11.520/kg on Thursday (25/8/2022). It means, it got cheaper Rp 123/kg compared to Wednesday (24/8/2022) tender which was Rp 11.643/kg.
From what InfoSAWIT got from KPBN, in Belawan and Dumai it was Rp 11.520/Kg, in Teluk Bayur it was Rp 11.400/Kg but in withdraw (WD) status with the highest bid Rp 11.300/Kg. In Talang Duku it was Rp 11.300/Kg but in WD status with the highest bid Rp 11.230/Kg.
The decreasing CPO price is the same with the global as it was in Bursa Malaysia, as quoted from Reuters, CPO reference contract at FCPOc3 for November 2022 delivery at Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange decreased 1,28% to be RM 4.253 (US$ 949,33) per ton in the early session. It increased about 6,64% in the four session.
The Government of Indonesia through Ministry of Trade planned to extend zero export citation until 31 October 2022. Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan told it on Wednesday (24/8/2022). It is hoped to escalate the export and make smallholders’ fresh fruit bunch more expensive.
From what Jaringan Petani Sawit Nasional (JPSN) told, the independent smallholders’ FFB got better but mostly it is less than Rp 2.000/kg but in some regions, it is more than Rp 2.000/kg.
