InfoSAWIT, JAKARAT – The exports from Indonesia in July 2022 reached mencapai US$ 25,57 billion or decreased 2,20 percent compared to the previous month (month on month/MoM). But in cumulative, January — July 2022 exports reached US$ 166,70 billion or escalated 36,36 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
The decreasing exports in July 2022 happened for the decreasing oil and gas exports reaching 11,24 percent (MoM) and processing industries which also decreased 4,45 percent (MoM). But agriculture exports still escalated reaching 4,27 percent (MoM), and the mining sectors did escalate reaching 6,61 percent (MoM).
Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan told, some non-oil and gas products that significantly ncreased in bulan July 2022 were pulp from wood (HS 47) that reached 48,54 percent (MoM); tobacco and cigarette (HS 24) about 14,48 percent (MoM); non-organic chemical materials (HS 28) about 9,87 percent (MoM); tin and its products (HS 74) about 8,34 percent (MoM); coffee, tea, and spices (HS 09) about 7,40 percent (MoM); fat and vegetable oil including palm oil (HS 15) about 5,31 percent (MoM).
“In specific, the increasing fat and vegetable oil, including palm oil (HS 15) about 5,31 percent or US$ 3,56 billion were the impacts of some policies that the government published,” he said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Wednesday (17/8/2022).

Zulkifli Hasan also told, non-oil and gas exports from Indonesia in July 2022 still got better for some main partner countries. The highest non-oil and gas exports went to Poland that reached 106,68 percent (MoM), Spain (59,49 percent), Hongkong (25,95 percent), Taiwan (19,51 percent), and United Arab Emirates (15,36 percent). In the regional perspective, the biggest exports happened in Central Africa that increased 106,05 percent, then Caribbean (73,24 percent) and Central Asia (55,36 percent).
“The increasing non-oil and gas exports to some regions in July 2022 could be the positive indication of policy impact in the trade internationally that the Government of Indonesia published in the early semester II of 2022,” he said. (T2)
