InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - By 1 August 2022 95 companies got brand approval - MINYAKITA from Ministry of Trade and the numbers would always be more.
As in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Tuesday (2/8/2022), Ministry of Trade launched Minyak Goreng Curah untuk Rakyat (MGCR) program with the brand Minyakita on 6 July 2022.
Ministry of Trade is optimist that Minyakita would cover MGCR program by strengthening the retailer partners in pelaku usaha jasa logistik dan eceran (PUJLE) in Indonesia. In one month, the program would cover the eastern Indonesia to realize the highest retail price (HRP) of bulk palm cooking oil.
Based on the price and distribution progress of MGCR in Sistem Pemantauan Pasar Kebutuhan Pokok (SP2KP) Ministry of Trade in 216 markets in Indonesia, bulk palm cooking oil in Java and Bali is averagely less than HRP at Rp 14.000/liter. Per 1 August 2022 it was about Rp 12.937/liter or got cheaper more than 6,95 percent than it in last month in the two islands.
In national scale, compared to last month, it was at Rp 14.300/liter or got cheaper 9,49 percent. The other islands showed the decreasing price in average, such as, in Sumatera, it was at Rp 13.251/liter, Kalimantan it was Rp 13.854/liter, Sulawesi it was Rp 14.408/liter, Maluku dan Papua it was at Rp 18.621/liter.
MGCR is now available at 18.024 retailers of PUJLE in 241 districts/cities within special HRP banner in 24 provinces. The government expand the distribution which was named bulk palm cooking oil to be bulk and packaged palm cooking oil for the people. MGCR should use the brand – Minyakita and should put the HRP at Rp 14.000 per liter. (T2)
