InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – According to Ministry of Trade, by 29 July 2022 Minyak Goreng Curah Rakyat (MGCR) had been available in 18.024 retailers as the partners of pelaku usaha jasa logistik dan eceran (PUJLE) in 271 districts/cities in 27 provinces within special brand/banner of highest retail price (HRP).
Besides, 91 companies got approval to use Minyakita brand from Ministry of Trade. The numbers would be more because many companies are interested in the program. Ministry of Trade would deliver incentive of export quota to them that packaged bulk palm cooking oil with the brand Minyakita.
Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan said, bulk palm cooking oil gets cheaper because of the over-capacity. “Bulk palm cooking oil in simple package is sold at HRP – Rp 14.000. The stock is available. The price tends to be cheaper because of the over-supply,” he said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Sunday (31/7/2022).
He continued the daily needs price gets the impact for the inflation. “The inflation was high but if the daily needs get cheaper, the inflation would be in control,” Hasan said.
In national scale, bulk palm cooking oil is at Rp 14.400/liter, or cheaper 8,86% compared to it last month, the same as it is in Java, Bali, Sumatera, and Kalimantan.
In Java and Bali, it gets cheaper to be Rp 12.979/liter. In other provinces, it shows the cheaper one within the average in Sulawesi at Rp1 4.919/liter, in Nusa Tenggara at Rp 16.125/liter, in Maluku and Papua at Rp 18.940/liter. (T2)
