4 Districts Had the Widest Palm Oil Plantations in Lampung Province

InfoSAWIT, BANDAR LAMPUNG – According to Plantation Agency Lampung Province, palm oil plantation and production in 2020 based on geographic information system (GIS) map, palm oil plantations in the province laid about 196.312 hectares (ha).

It means, palm oil plantations in the province in 2020 were in the 13th position as the widest ones in Indonesia.

Still based on the agency, there are four districts in Lampung planted by palm oil plantations more than 12 thousand hectares, they were, District of Mesuji, District of Lampung Tengah, District of Tulang Bawang, and District of Way Kanan.

The largest one was in District of Mesuji where they laid about 21.600 ha.

“The production capacity of the plantations in Mesuji reached about 36.987 tons per year,” the notes mentioned from Plantation Agency Lampung Province that InfoSAWIT recently got. (T5)
