InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Palm oil plantation and wood company, PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk., (DSNG) booked the first semester 2022 profits about Rp 467 billion, or increased 119% compared to last year. This happened for the expensive crude palm oil (CPO), palm and kernel is oil (PKO) and the positive work in wood products.
For the first six months in this year, DSNG got income about Rp 3,8 billion, escalated 15% compared to the same period last year. Palm oil sector contributed about 80% or about Rp 3,0 billion.
Palm oil trade increased 11% though the selling volume of the company got lower 24% because of not better CPO production in the first quarter in 2022.
Director of DSNG, Andrianto Oetomo said, the increasing work of the company was help by the increasing CPO price as the impact of decreasing vegetable oil supply in the globe because of the war between Russia and Ukraine. CPO produced by DSNG in the first semester 2022 escalated 40% to be Rp 11,8 million per ton, while PKO increased 68% to be Rp 25,6 million per ton.
“DSNG enjoys the flag fall from the expensive CPO. Palm oil sectors contributed about 80% of the total income. Besides, wood sectors did the good and strengthened the work of DSNG in group,” Oetomo said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Thursday (28/7/2022). (T2)
