InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) on Thursday (28/7/2022) got better to be Rp 9.825/kg. It means, it increased about Rp 400/kg compared to Wednesday (27/7/2022) tender which was Rp 9.425/kg.
As what InfoSAWIT got from KPBN, in Belawan and Dumai it was Rp 9.825/kg, in Teluk Bayur it was Rp 9.705/Kg, in Talang Duku it was Rp 9.705/kg but in withdraw (WD) status within the highest bid Rp 9.625/kg, in Palembang it was Rp 9.725/kg and in WD status within the highest bid Rp 9.625/kg.
In West Kalimantan it was Rp 9.625/kg and in Palopo it was Rp 9.625/kg but in WD status within the highest bid Rp 9.475/kg.
The temporary stop of export levy impacted to increase the exports from Indonesia and CPO price which also increased smallholders’ fresh fruit bunch (FFB).
Soaduon Sitorus from Jaringan Petani Sawit Nasional told to recover smallholders’ FFB price, at least, there are two ways that the government should run, the first is to normalize market supply chain because for all these years, there was CPO stock buffer which became the reason to publish many policies. To solve the issue, it needs to revoke domestic market obligation (DMO), domestic price obligation (DPO), Flash Out (FO) and export levy.
The second, the government should deliver incentives for the exporter by minimizing Out Fee numbers. Now what the government regulates is not the final solution because the Regulation of Minister of Finance Number 115 / 2022 mentioned, export levy elimination would only be available until 31 August 2022 while per September 2022 it would be running again the numbers would be US$ 240/ton.
