IPOA West Sumatera Sumbar: There Should be No More FFB Citation: Everything is Hard Still

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Chairman of Indonesian Palm Oil Association (IPOA) West Sumatera, Bambang Wiguritno said, every citation burdened to stakeholders should be diverted to smallholders.

“No stakeholders want to get losses. They want to get profits but in the right ways by not pressing one or some sides,” he recently said to InfoSAWIT. He continued, the proposal delivered by Asosiasi Kabupaten Penghasil Sawit Indonesia (AKPSI) to the government to get retribution Rp 25/kg of fresh fruit bunch (FFB) would press the companies and smallholders.

“Lots of mills stop operating and some should temporarily stop. In the latest condition, why should take citation?” he said by hoping, every side should be wiser, having clean thought to know what is going on. He also reminded palm oil industries need the positive supports to survive without any pressure or citation. (T5)
