InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) on Thursday (14/7/2022) got better to be Rp 8.000/kg. It means, it increased about Rp 800/kg compared to Wednesday tender (13/7/2022) which was only Rp 7.200/kg.
From what InfoSAWIT got from KPBN, in Belawan and Dumai it was Rp 8.000/kg, in Teluk Bayur it was Rp 7.080/kg but with no withdraw (WD) status and the highest bid was Rp 7.500/kg. in Teluk Duku it was Rp 7.050/kg, with no WD status and the highest bid was Rp 7.475/kg.
The stoppage of Indonesian workers or migrant workers to Malaysia impact to Malaysia’s palm oil production. According to the Ambassador of Indonesia in Malaysia, Hermono, the policy is available for many sectors, as quoted from Antara.
The stoppage of delivering migrant workers is the ignorance of one point in memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Indonesia and Malaysia about the relocation and protection of the workers in domestic sector. Malaysia still ignores the domestic worker recruit in System Maid Online (SMO) which has no clear protection (for the workers).
