InfoSAWIT, SORONG SELATAN - PT Putera Manunggal Perkasa (PMP), one subsidiary of palm oil plantation company, PT. Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk (ANJ) that operates in Sorong Selatan recently got “Paritrana Award 2021” from Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS) Ketenagakerjaan Papua Barat for its commitment to implement social guarantee for the workers.
The award strengthened PMP as one of the third best company in big corporation cateogy. The award was symbolically handed over by Galih Aditya as the Head of Membership BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in Sorong on 7 July 2022.
The award was initiated by the Government of Indonesia through Coordinator Ministry in Human and Culture Development Indonesian Republic in cooperation with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, Paritrana Award, that started since 2017. It was the award handed over to the province, district, city, big, corporates, medium, micro, small, and medium businesses as the appreciation to obey administration and the good implementation to protect and guarantee their workers’ social issues.
Government and Stakeholder Relationship Department of ANJ in Papua, Gritje Fonataba said, the award multiplied the previous awards that PMP got. Prior PMP through the Koperasi Simpan got Golden Champion in Corporate Social Responsibility program in private company category in national scale from Bisnis Indonesia together with Habitat for Humanity Indonesia, BISRA 2022.

Gritje Fonataba also mentioned, as palm oil plantation company, ANJ Group always obeys the available regulations. “We do fulfill our obligation by delivering social protection for our workers based on the available regulation,” he said. (T2)
