FFB Gets Cheaper, Aspek-PIR Proposed to Get Profit Sharing without Export Citation

InfoSAWIT, MEDAN – Until the second week of July 2022, fresh fruit bunch (FFB) does not get better. It is only about Rp 1.230/kg. while in the same time, the smallholders should pay off the harvest which is Rp 200/kg, transportation about Rp 170/kg, and kinds of fertilizers to buy.

If the numbers are multiplied, it is a loss to get one kilogram - FFB for about Rp 1.400 to Rp 1.600 per kg than spending money to produce one kilogram – FFB.

Chairman of Asosiasi Petani Kelapa Sawit Perkebunan Inti Rakyat (Aspek-PIR) North Sumatera, Syarifuddin Sirait offered profit sharing for every FFB selling to the government within one condition, there is no any citation from the government on every crude palm oil (CPO) export.

“There is nothing wrong. We split it into two. Every smallholders’ FFB which was sold should be divided into two with the government. 50 : 50. But within one condition, there is no any citation to CPO export,” he said to InfoSAWIT, Sunday (10/7/2022).,

He also asked for the government to purchase smallholders’ FFB directly in the field and the tonnage should be divided into two. If the government approved, the government could publish the policy. He offered this idea in order that the government would know that the smallholders are in misery both the plasma and independent ones.

The Chairman of Koperasi Petani Kelapa Sawit (KPKS) Kesepakatan Ambar, Village of Gotting Sidodadi, Sub district of Bandar Pasir Mandoge, District of Asahan told that some taxes, such as, income tax, expense tax, chapter 21, chapter 25, domestic market obligation and domestic price obligation and flush out are regulated by the government to the stakeholders. “The stakehilders themselves burden the taxes to us the smallholders. No stakeholder wants to get loss, dear government,” Sirait said.

He took the government to realize ‘the profit sharing’ of smallholders’ FFB selling. 50% would be for the smallholders, and the others are for the government. “But the government should keep its promise, zero tax except our property tax, it is alright. Let us pay it. This is the evidence of our love to Indonesia,” he said. (T5)
