InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yassin Limpo (SYL) published circulars to many heads of regions, both governors, regents, and mayors where palm oil plantations develop.

The latest was that SYL published Circulars Number 144/KB.310/M/6/2022 on 30 June 2022 about Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Purchased produced by the Planters.

In the circulars, SYL told there are four things to notice by the heads of regions to follow up the meeting result to ease logistic transportation of palm cooking oil and crude palm cooking oil.

The four things are, the first, to help the smallholders, the mills agreed to purchase the independent smallholders FFB at minimally Rp 1.600 per kg. The second, to maintain the smallholders’ FFB price, the heads of regions should regularly monitor and report to each taskforce. The third is Ministry of Agriculture encouraged the heads of regions to establish and empower the smallholders’ institutions, facilitate or conduct cooperation between their institutions and the mills.

“The fourth, dear sirs should empower the regulation about operational as written in the first, second, and third things,” SYL told in the circulars as what InfoSAWIT, got, Tuesday (5/7/2022).

Just to remind, some time ago, SYL published the circulars to the heads of regions which the point was to monitor FFB price produced by the smallholders. (T5)
