InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - Andi Sidik from Plantation Agency East Kalimantan Province said, since 2017 to 2021 smallholders replanting program (SRP) realization that Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA) did, laid about 5.054,465 hectares or 21 percent of the potential in District of Paser which laid about 20.000 hectares and in Kutai Kartanegara that laid about 240 hectares.
In 2021 in East Kalimantan, there were three institutions in District of Paser that proposed to get the infrastructures, they were, Koperasi Unit Desa (KUD) Sawit Jaya that laid about 50 hectares which proposed to improve the path production; Gabungan Kelompok Tani (Gapoktan) Laburan Bersatu and Gapoktan Jaflorensia Jayaseluas that laid about 50 hectares to get intensification.
“Until now, the infrastructures are not realized still because they need technical recommendation from the central government,” Andi said in a webinar and livestreaming about “Dampak Positif Program PSR, Sarpras dan Pengembangan SDM Bagi Petani Sawit”, that InfoSAWIT recently joined in Jakarta.
He also told, the human resource program in 2021 in District of Paser covered 360 smallholders within two phases to 6 (six) KUD. The first phase target covered 180 smallholders while the realization covered 248 ones or 137 percent.
Chairman of KUD Sawit Jaya, Aliyadi said the smallholders were happy to get grant and they were enthusiastic to join SRP because they planted superior and certified seeds.
“But in November 2020 when proposing it, as a matter of fact, the technical recommendation is not published yet (until now),” he who is also the Chairman of Asosiasi Petani Kelapa Sawit PIR (Aspekpir) East Kalimantan, said. (T2)
