130 Palm Oil Companies Were Registered in SIMIRAH 2

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – By 1 July 2022, there had been 130 palm oil companies registered in Sistem Informasi Minyak Goreng Curah (SIMIRAH) 2.0.

From the official information of Ministry of Industry to InfoSAWIT, Sunday (3/7/2022), of the numbers, there were 51 crude palm oil (CPO) producers and 79 palm cooking oil producers.

“In Minyak Goreng Curah Rakyat (MGCR) program, the producers get more. Prior there were 75 companies operating in Minyak Goreng Curah Bersubsidi but they became 79 companies,” General Director of Agro Industry, Ministry of Industry, Putu Juli Ardika said in Jakarta, Sunday (3/7/2022).

Putu also mentioned, of the total 130 companies registered in SIMIRAH 2, 98 companies got registration numbers. They consist of 24 CPO producers and 74 palm cooking oil producers. “No company rejected in the registration but they did not get registration numbers because being verified or they should complete data,” he said.

Prior General Directorate of Agro Industry did business matching in Sumatera region about MGCR program in Medan. Besides socializing the program, the event was about to ease every participant in MGCR program to migrate into SIMIRAH 2. “We did consultation for the companies, involved the taskforce of Ministry of Industry in Medan to be the auditors,” he said.

Of 74 palm cooking oil producers that got registration number in MGCR program, 39 companies (52%) are in Sumatera. Of 24 CPO producers that got registration numbers, 17 of them (70,8%) are in Sumatera. “It means, Sumatera could be the center and essential as palm cooking oil producer,” he said.

On 1 - 30 June 2022, the realization of MGCR distribution reached 81,72% in average for the monthly needs in each province. “Based on the data, MGCR distribution to seven provinces, such as, Bali, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, Nusa Tenggara Barat, South Sulawesi, and West Sumatera surpassed the projection of needs,” Putu said. In June 2022, the total MGCR which palm cooking oil producers distributed reached 268 thousand tons; 182 thousand tons of the numbers were distributed to distributor 1 (D1), 45 thousand tons to retailers, and 28 thousand tons to the people.

“The increase export volume on CPO and palm cooking oil happened for the acceleration DMO – DPO distribution in this country, including in the form of packaged palm cooking oil,” he said. The government would run the program well and with accountability to guarantee the procurement and fulfill palm cooking oil needs based on the highest retail price (HRP) at Rp14.000 per liter or Rp 15.500 per kilogram. The government would facilitate the retailers that would sell bulk palm cooking oil for the people.

It is hoped, having the official retailers registered in SIMIRAH 2 or Pelaku Usaha Jasa Logistik dan Eceran (PUJLE) would help the government and the people to fulfill the needs in this country. Since the government socialized QR Code Peduli Lindungi on 27 June 2022 to 34.900 retailers, 3.345 or 8,81% of them printed QR Code PeduliLindungi which the buyers should scan.

"Ministry of Industry would accelerate that the registered retailers should print QR Code PeduliLindungi. In SIMIRAH 2, we put monitoring filter to know which retailers that do not print it," Director of Seafood and Fishery Industry, Emil Satria said.

The retailers which got QR Code PeduliLindungi can directly do transaction with the buyers based on the available policy, price and numbers to purchase. The buyers that have no PeduliLindungi application can still purchase it by showing ID. The retailers should note their ID and do daily recap. (T5)
